The Global Goals Conference is a beginner conference hosted at Shawnigan Lake School in October. For those looking for a first conference experience, this is one for you! Each committee focuses on one of the UN’s Global Goals.

Keynote Speaker - 2024
Reid Dagul is the Chief of Staff to Congressman Ben Cline, who represents the constituents of Virginia’s 6th Congressional District. Reid has held numerous high-level roles in the United States government, including positions in the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, and as a political appointee in President Trump’s administration. He graduated from Shawnigan Lake School in 2011, where he was a member of Lonsdale House. Reid then attended the University of Arizona, earning a degree in political science in 2015.

CONFERENCE FEE: This year’s conference is FREE for public school students that request financial aid (email pklassen@shawnigan.ca). All other participants must pay $40 (includes materials & lunch) - financial aid is available. Please inquire at pklassen@shawnigan.ca
